The Shocknife® STRESS-BLADE™ (SK-SB) is designed as an entry-level trainer, allowing Instructors the ability to add acute stress to their edged weapon training in the most affordable way possible. Like its big brother, it generates an electric shock that "bites" without injuring, redefining the psychology of defensive combat.

Power and Tactical Realism
  • Constant Shock: Using a standard 9-volt battery, the StressBlade delivers a constant shock level of 7,500 volts with a safety factor of less than one milliamp.
  • Sensory Stimulation: When activated, the blade assaults your senses by producing sparks in a menacing fashion, inducing an immediate psychological response in the student.
  • Operational Simplicity: With only one setting, the Shocknife® StressBlade™ is perfect for use in high-stress scenarios where quick setup is vital.

Differences from the SK-2 Model

The SKN15 is the simplified version of the SK-2, optimizing costs without sacrificing the main function:

  • Not Included: Power regulator, protective carrying case, and online certification. (These accessories are sold separately).
  • Warranty: This model includes a 90-day warranty only.
  • Modes: Features 1 single mode (On/Off) compared to the 4 levels of the SK-2.

This product has been catalogued by the Intervención Central de Armas y Explosivos de la Guardia Civil, as an electric defense weapon and therefore covered under article 5.1C, being its sale restricted in Spain according to the 1993 Weapons Regulation and still in force to date, to specially authorized officials. This means that for the trade of this equipment, NIDEC Spain will request an order from an Official Body in order to process its sale as a "weapon".

The Shocknife and StressBlade are training knives, made of plastic without edges and with an electrical capacity of 0.00075 Amperes of power, to transmit for milliseconds the sensation generated by a knife cut. In this way, it is possible to train in a much more realistic way and with total safety for people.
