Nidec terms of sale

Version dated 22 October 2026

1 Seller and contact details

The online shop at www.nidec.es is owned by Nidec, S.L.U., tax identification number (NIF) B61293841, with its address at Travessera de Can Pàmies, 11, nave 13, 08470 Sant Celoni (Barcelona). Barcelona Commercial Registry: section 8, sheet B 158221, entry 15 dated 31 December 2025.

For orders, returns, warranties and issues, email eshop@nidec.es. You can also call 93 301 67 76, write to the address above or use WhatsApp +34 678 56 26 26. This last number is exclusively for written WhatsApp messages: calls and voice messages are not handled. These channels do not exclude other legally admissible means of exercising your rights.

2 Scope and purchase requirements

These terms govern purchases from Nidec together with the product and order information. Browsing does not mean making a purchase or consenting to general data processing.

To place an order, you must be at least 18, expressly confirm that you are of legal age and have legal capacity to contract. If acting for another person or entity, you need sufficient authority. Provide accurate details and use the website for lawful transactions.

Consumer rights apply when you buy outside your trade, business, craft or profession, or otherwise qualify as a consumer by law, regardless of your account type or whether you request an invoice.

For business or professional purchases, these terms apply as appropriate, together with specific agreements and the law, without automatically extending consumer withdrawal rights or guarantees. No additional commercial returns policy or professional warranty is offered unless agreed. Quotations, distribution contracts and other specific transactions are governed by the agreed terms and mandatory rules.

3 Products and restrictions

Nidec sells police, private security and self-defence equipment. Check the product page and instructions for features, variants, compatibility and warnings. Images are illustrative but do not replace the agreed features and performance.

Some items have age, identity, qualification, licence, authorisation, transport or destination requirements, which will be identified before you enter into the contract. Only legally permitted transactions will be processed: being of legal age or holding professional credentials does not authorise you to buy every item.

Items marked as restricted to State Security Forces and Corps are not sold through the eShop: request them at armeria@nidec.es, subject to legal requirements. Checks will be limited to the necessary information and do not exclude mandatory consumer rights. For invoicing, we will request the necessary details, such as the applicable DNI, NIF or CIF number, without requesting a copy of the document for invoicing.

Customisation, reservations and special terms will be identified before you confirm the purchase. A standard size, colour or variant does not make a product customised. Any courses or services offered will have specific terms; advertising third-party courses does not make Nidec their organiser.

4 Orders, availability and reservations

Select products and variants, add them to your basket and provide the necessary details. Before confirming, you can review and correct the order and see the total, taxes, shipping costs, payment and delivery details. Final confirmation entails an obligation to pay. You will receive an email acknowledging receipt and giving order details, and shipping information after dispatch. Keep the communications and terms; you can enquire about your purchase at eshop@nidec.es.

If you spot an error, send the reference and correction as soon as possible. We will check whether it can be changed. Any legally chargeable cost for additional handling after dispatch will be communicated before you accept it.

Products available to buy are usually in stock. A product page showing an out-of-stock notice may allow purchases for delivery after restocking. After you order, we will communicate the expected timing, without unilaterally extending the delivery period stated or agreed or, failing that, the period in section 7.

An occasional stock error may also occur even if the product page did not show an out-of-stock notice. If it affects your order, we will inform you within 24 hours of your placing it, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from that period. If the expected timing does not suit you or we cannot confirm a suitable date, you can choose an alternative product you accept, agree to wait for restocking, or cancel and receive a refund. We will not substitute products or extend deadlines without your agreement. Any price difference for an alternative will be communicated and agreed before the change.

For mixed orders, you can wait to receive everything or request the available items if the wait does not suit you. Nidec pays for the second shipment of the outstanding items, at no extra charge. When you cancel due to unavailability, we will initiate the refund on the day cancellation is agreed; actual receipt of the funds depends on the bank or payment provider, without prejudice to statutory deadlines.

If there are objective signs of fraud or unauthorised payment, we may pause processing for the time needed for proportionate checks, without indefinitely delaying delivery or refunds. We will inform you unless legally prevented and request only the necessary information. If fraud is confirmed or the transaction is not legally viable, we may reject or cancel it where permitted by law, notify you and refund any amount due via the original payment method or a secure, legally applicable procedure.

5 Prices, payment and invoices

Consumer prices are shown in euros, including taxes. Before confirming, you will see shipping costs, surcharges and the total. We will not add optional charges using pre-ticked boxes or without express acceptance. Tax treatment depends on the transaction and destination: Spanish VAT does not always apply.

You can pay by credit or debit card, Bizum or bank transfer, depending on the available options, using your own or authorised payment methods. Transactions are subject to the payment provider's checks.

For bank transfers, you will receive account details and instructions by email when you confirm the order. Payment is confirmed only when credited to our account, not by proof of transfer. Pending orders remain open with no fixed deadline, reminders or automatic cancellation for non-payment, but do not reserve stock. Once funds are credited, we will check availability; if items are unavailable, the options in section 4 apply.

Price changes affect future purchases only. If there are pricing or description errors, we will inform you and resolve the issue in accordance with your rights and the law.

As a consumer, you are entitled to a free paper invoice. Electronic invoicing requires your express consent, which you can revoke by requesting a paper invoice free of charge. Provide accurate billing details.

6 Destinations, carriers and shipping costs

Direct website purchases allow shipping to mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands. For any other destination, including the Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla and other EU countries, contact eshop@nidec.es: these orders are handled outside the website. You will receive a shipping quote and, where applicable, details of taxes, customs formalities and charges and who bears them; once you accept, you will receive a payment link. Shipping must be viable for the product and destination.

Standard shipping costs are €5.93 including VAT for mainland Spain (€4.90 plus 21% VAT) and €10.29 including VAT for the Balearic Islands (€8.50 plus 21% VAT). Any surcharges for special transport requirements will be disclosed before you enter into the contract; no additional charges will apply without the required information and acceptance.

Rates may be updated for future purchases without individual advance notice due to changes in transport costs or conditions, such as fuel costs or exceptional service disruptions. You will know the total before entering into the contract; shipping costs for orders already contracted will not be increased unilaterally.

We usually ship with Correos Express. We may use MRW because of incidents or service performance at a destination, while keeping the shipping price charged for the order unchanged.

After dispatch with Correos Express, you will receive a tracking email. Its link lets you manage delivery changes or collection points offered by the carrier, depending on destination, availability and shipment status; these are not guaranteed for every order. Product transport restrictions will be disclosed before you enter into the contract.

7 Preparation, delivery and issues

Orders received before 13:00 on a working day from Monday to Friday may be dispatched that day if all items are available and payment has been received and confirmed. For bank transfers, the funds must actually have been credited to our bank account. Immediate dispatch is not guaranteed in every case.

The estimated delivery time from dispatch is 24 to 48 hours, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, and is not guaranteed. A Friday shipment is therefore expected from the following Monday, if it is a working day. Reservations, customisation and special deliveries will have the delivery period stated or agreed.

For consumer purchases, unless another period is agreed, we will deliver without undue delay and within 30 calendar days of the contract being concluded. If we fail to do so, you can allow an appropriate additional period and terminate the contract if that is also missed. You need not allow this in cases provided by law, such as refusal to deliver or an essential delivery deadline. Termination entails a refund without undue delay. Lack of stock does not permit an indefinite wait or an extension without your agreement.

Check your address and contact details. Incorrect addresses, absence or incidents may delay delivery: contact us. Failure to collect or absence does not amount to withdrawal. There are no automatic penalties; any redelivery or return cost must be actual, disclosed where required and legally chargeable according to the cause.

If you buy as a consumer, the risk of loss or damage passes to you when you, or a third party you designate other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the goods. If you independently engage a carrier not offered by Nidec, the statutory exception applies.

Tell us as soon as possible about damage, errors or missing deliveries, and keep photos if you can. Failure to notify the carrier within 24 or 48 hours or to make a note on the delivery slip does not in itself remove your statutory rights. Nidec will handle issues and remain responsible for its obligations, including when a carrier is involved.

8 Consumer right of withdrawal

If you buy as a consumer, you have 14 calendar days to withdraw from the distance purchase without giving a reason, unless a statutory exception applies to the specific product or service. The period starts when you or a designated third party other than the carrier takes physical possession of the goods; for orders delivered separately, when the last item, batch or part is received. For services, it runs from the conclusion of the contract.

Send an unequivocal statement of withdrawal to eshop@nidec.es or Nidec, S.L.U., Travessera de Can Pàmies, 11, nave 13, 08470 Sant Celoni (Barcelona), using these or other legally admissible means. You may use the form at the end, but it is not mandatory and you do not need prior return authorisation. Sending the communication before the deadline is sufficient.

Return the goods without undue delay and within 14 calendar days of communicating your withdrawal, unless we agree to collect them. The return address is given in the previous paragraph. Coordinate safe transport of restricted items with us, without this suspending or removing your right.

You bear the direct cost of returning goods on withdrawal, provided you were informed before purchasing. For goods that cannot normally be returned by post, the cost will also be disclosed in advance. Nidec will bear the costs for which it is legally responsible, including those arising from lack of conformity or a shipping error attributable to the shop.

We will reimburse all payments, including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered for the order. If you chose a more expensive delivery option, only the difference is excluded. We will do so without undue delay and within 14 calendar days of your communication, using the same payment method unless you expressly agree to another method at no cost to you.

We may withhold reimbursement until we receive the goods or proof of return, whichever comes first, unless we have offered to collect them. You are liable only for diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the goods' nature, characteristics and functioning. Opening packaging or reasonably examining the product does not in itself remove your right of withdrawal. You will not be liable for that diminished value if you were not properly informed of your right of withdrawal.

Where possible, return any accessories, instructions and packaging you still have and provide a purchase reference. Keeping the original packaging or invoice is not an absolute requirement.

9 Exceptions and other returns

Exceptions to withdrawal will apply only where the legal requirements are met in the specific case and you were informed before purchasing. They may include goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised, goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, and certain sealed goods unsuitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed.

Sprays, batons, vests or other categories will not be excluded merely because of their name. A standard size, an expiry date or opening a box does not in itself justify an exception; the actual characteristics and the law must be considered.

For services, loss of the right after full performance requires information, prior consent and acknowledgement of that loss as provided by law. If you request that a service start during the withdrawal period and then withdraw, only legally payable amounts will be charged.

Exceptions do not remove rights relating to defects, errors or lack of conformity. Additional commercial returns policies will be governed by the terms expressly offered; no extended returns policy is presumed.

10 Conformity and guarantees

For new goods bought as a consumer, Nidec is liable for any lack of conformity existing on delivery that becomes apparent within the following three years. As a general rule, during the first two years it is presumed to have existed on delivery, unless this is incompatible with the nature of the goods or defect. Statutory rules on evidence, time limits and the exercise of rights apply.

The product must comply with the contract and legal requirements for description, quantity, quality, functionality, accessories, instructions and durability. If there is a problem, contact Nidec and identify the purchase and issue. You do not have to contact the manufacturer first: its commercial warranty does not replace your rights against the shop.

You may choose repair or replacement, unless impossible or disproportionate as provided by law. These will be free of charge, including transport, materials and labour, within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience. In cases provided by law, you may obtain a price reduction or terminate the contract.

Normal wear or damage caused exclusively by misuse or unauthorised modifications does not in itself constitute an original lack of conformity; each case will be assessed without excluding defects we must address. If used goods, goods with digital elements or other digital content or services are sold, information on the specific applicable rules will be provided.

11 Liability and safety

Nidec is responsible for its contractual and legal obligations, without limiting non-waivable rights or excluding liability where the law prohibits it. Use products according to their intended purpose, instructions and applicable rules: buying them does not authorise every form of possession or use.

Extraordinary circumstances beyond reasonable control will be assessed under the law. We will inform you of their effects and your options if they affect the order; they do not permit delivery, termination or refunds to be suspended indefinitely.

12 Communications

We may contact you by email or written WhatsApp messages at the number provided, if you use that service, about issues or necessary order information. These do not replace legally required communications and media. Keep your details up to date and retain purchase documents. Handling orders or enquiries does not imply acceptance of advertising.

13 Personal data and cookies

Data processing is governed by the GDPR and Organic Law 3/2018. See the Privacy policy for information and how to exercise your rights. Data needed for orders will be processed to perform the contract and meet legal obligations. Where consent is required, it will be requested separately; browsing or accepting these terms does not constitute consent to all processing or advertising.

The Cookies policy describes the use of these technologies. Those requiring consent may only be used with a valid choice independent of acceptance of these terms.

14 Complaints and claims

For returns, warranties or complaints, you can use eshop@nidec.es, WhatsApp +34 678 56 26 26 for written messages only, telephone 93 301 67 76 or the address in section 1. Provide the purchase reference and reason, without unnecessary sensitive information.

We will provide a reference or acknowledgement and reply as soon as possible within the applicable statutory maximum period. You can request official complaint forms through our contact channels. If we do not resolve a consumer complaint, we will inform you, where legally required, of the competent alternative dispute resolution body and whether we are obliged or willing to participate.

15 Applicable law and courts

Spanish law applies. If you buy as a consumer resident in another country, this choice does not deprive you of the mandatory protection to which you are entitled. Disputes will be submitted to the courts with jurisdiction under the law, without requiring consumers to waive their right to the competent forum or to use only the courts where Nidec is domiciled.

16 Version and validity

Each purchase is governed by the version of these terms in force and accepted when the contract is concluded, together with the order information and specific terms. Changes will affect future purchases only, not earlier orders retroactively. If a clause is invalid, the others will remain in force insofar as legally possible. Binding pre-contractual information, offers and advertising, commercial warranties and statutory rights remain unaffected.

Optional model withdrawal form

Complete and send this form only if you wish to withdraw as a consumer. You can also communicate your withdrawal through another unequivocal statement.
