Ultralight ACH Ballistic Helmet CSC26 – NIJ IIIA+ V50 700 m/s

The CSC26 is the latest special operations helmet developed by Nidec Defense. Originally designed for U.S. Army airborne special intervention units, it responds to the need for a more compact helmet than PASGT or PASCUT models, especially in confined environments such as aircraft and helicopters.

Technical comparison: Externally similar helmets made of PE (High Density Polyethylene) exist. Although they offer good anti-fragment protection at lower cost, they are not recommended for hot climates and produce greater backface deformation compared to layered aramid fabric helmets.
