VIS35 Ballistic Shield: Lightweight and Safe for Your Ballistic Helmet
Introducing the VIS35 Ballistic Shield, designed to offer you the highest level of ballistic protection according to 0.106.1 multi-impact NIJ IIIA. With universal compatibility, it fits virtually all ballistic helmets equipped with side rails, allowing you to quickly install and remove it without tools.
Made of polycarbonate and acrylic composite, the VIS35 stands out for its light weight, weighing only 1.5 kg. Despite its low weight, it provides a robust protection surface of 0.06m2 and a thickness of 2.3cm, ensuring facial safety without compromising the user's field of vision.
Excellence in Design and Composition
The structure of the VIS35 is designed to offer the best protection/weight ratio, ensuring a comfortable use together with the ballistic protection vest and allowing the use of long weapons and intercommunication in a comfortable way.
Its polycarbonate screen is totally transparent and distortion-free, guaranteeing a clear vision at all times. In addition, its 126mm internal curvature offers frontal and lateral protection.
The helmet is attached to the helmet by means of a side-rail suspension bracket, which facilitates the exchange of ballistic shields.
The composite composition of the shield combines polycarbonate sheets and acrylic material, ensuring sufficient resistance to the ballistic threats for which it is designed. On the inside, an acrylic layer prevents the generation of shrapnel in the event of an impact.
Superior Ballistic Performance
The VIS35 Ballistic Screen complies with NIJ 0106.01 standards, having been tested with projectiles such as:
- .44 Magnum SJHP with mass 240 grain and velocity of 436 m/s.
- 9mm FMJ with 124 grain mass and 436 m/s velocity.
- 7.62 x 25mm Tokarev with steel jacket at 465 m/s.
