The Tactical Entry Tool was designed for use by law enforcement and fire/rescue personnel for accomplishing forcible entry intro buildings, vehicles and other locked enclosures.
Professional Halligan breaching bar
The Nidec HHA22 is a professional Halligan bar designed for law enforcement, firefighters, emergency personnel and military units. Manufactured from hardened HRC51 steel, it allows operators to apply high leverage forces during forced entry operations.
Halligan tools are widely used in breaching operations to force doors, break locks, pry bars or gates and access secured structures.
Designed for tactical operations
The HHA22 features a black satin finish to prevent unwanted reflections or glare, an important feature during tactical operations.
The handle is protected with a rubber coating that improves grip and provides additional electrical insulation.
Main features

Origin of the Halligan tool
The Halligan tool was developed by Chief Hugh A. Halligan, who was concerned about the lack of effective tools for gaining access to buildings during emergencies.
Earlier tools such as the Kelly Tool and the Claw Tool presented operational problems and limitations.
Halligan designed a lightweight, robust tool with no welded parts that could perform multiple functions. After several design iterations he patented the tool in New York.
Although the New York Fire Department initially could not purchase it due to a potential conflict of interest, firefighters quickly adopted it across the country due to its effectiveness.
The Boston Fire Department became the first official agency to adopt it, purchasing one for each company. Over time the Halligan tool became standard equipment in fire trucks and emergency vehicles.
