Briefcase with foldable bulletproof shield level NIJ IIIA 160x50 cm

The NIDEC MAB10 Briefcase is designed to discreetly carry a NIJ IIIA level ballistic shield, very useful in protecting VIP’s and personalities. The briefcase goes completely unnoticed as if it were a document or laptop briefcase. However, inside it houses a flexible and deployable shield capable of protecting a person from head to toe.

The external face is manufactured from 600D Military Spec Ballistic Nylon fabric, which makes it fully resistant and durable over time. Inside, it contains a single continuous certified NIJ IIIA Bulletproof Aramid Shield, which in case of need is deployed quickly and effortless when Velcro closure is pulled. The briefcase is closed by means of a zippered high quality YKK, hence, in an emergency situation the case can be carried with the zippers open and the shield remains secured only with the Velcro closure.

The shield also includes up to 6 handles that enable the same panel to be placed in the most appropriate position according to the type of threat.

·         Stab protection: Up to 24 Joules, double-edged knives S1 type. 20 mm penetration allowance – NIJ 0.115.00.

·         Ballistic panel density: 0.55 g/cm²

·         10-year guaranteed ballistic panel.

·         Double international and national insurance R.C of $ 10 million and 1.5 million Euros respectively.

·         If desired, protection level can be upgraded to NIJ III or IV by means of rigid plates.

·         Thermo-welded ballistic material in high strength polyamide sheath. It is heat-sealed in climatic chamber with 0% HR, to avoid the proliferation of fungi and bacteria inside the panels.

·         All ballistic panels carry an identification label with serial number, date of manufacture, model, resistance levels, certificates, user instructions and maintenance.

·         Case dimensions: 55 cm x 32 cm x 12 cm

·         Quick-release system of the shield by means of a simple Velcro strap.
