The NIDEC EPP33 shield represents the maximum level of body coverage in our riot protection line. With its extended dimensions (110x60 cm), it offers "head-to-toe" protection, utilizing the same superior engineering and advanced polycarbonate blend that guarantees the safety and reliability of the entire NIDEC range.
The Key Difference: NIDEC Advanced Polycarbonate
Not all polycarbonates are created equal. We use a proprietary blend of high-performance resins, far superior to conventional polycarbonates.
- Superior Resistance Without Shattering: Our composition is designed to absorb and dissipate impact energy without shattering. It flexes under extreme pressure and returns to its shape, unlike lower-quality polycarbonates that can dangerously fragment upon strong impact, becoming a risk to the officer.
- High Level of Certified Protection: It easily surpasses impact tests, achieving resistance levels of >150 J of kinetic impact energy and >20 J of spike kinetic energy.
- Optical Clarity and Chemical Resistance: Offers excellent transparency without visual distortion (ideal for recording through it) and greater resistance to chemical agents.
Ergonomic and Tactical Design
- Ambidextrous Handle System: The shield can be easily configured by the user for right or left-hand use. It includes an ergonomic handle with finger grooves and a non-conductive polypropylene grip, complemented by an adjustable Velcro forearm strap that allows for quick release if needed.
- Protective Convex Shape: Its thermoformed convex curvature helps deflect impact energy towards the sides, reducing the force transmitted to the officer's arm.
- Passive Safety: All edges are rounded and polished to eliminate sharp edges. It does not incorporate ribs or reinforcements that could obstruct vision.
