The AEA71 (SAF’IR EVOLUTION) is a milestone in road and workplace safety: it is the first breath alcohol analyzer designed to be portable that uses Infrared Spectrometry technology. Unlike traditional electrochemical sensors, this device offers absolute precision and specificity for ethanol, granting it the status of an evidential breathalyzer with full legal validity.

Homologation and Legal Validity (CEM)

The equipment has undergone the most rigorous metrological controls, obtaining the Homologation of the Spanish Metrology Center (CEM).

• Regulatory Compliance: Complies with the International Recommendation OIML R.126 of 1998.
• Legal Certainty: Its results are admissible as evidence in courts and administrative proceedings according to current legislation in Spain and many other countries.

Infrared Technology (IR)

The heart of the AEA71 is its optical infrared sensor (9.46 μm). This system measures the absorption of monochromatic light by the ethanol molecule, ensuring:

• Stability: Does not suffer from the degradation typical of fuel cell sensors.
