What are G.L.O.V.E gloves?
G.L.O.V.E gloves are electric sensor gloves designed exclusively for police use. The acronym G.L.O.V.E stands for Generated Low Output Voltage Emitter. These gloves allow for the control and arrest of an individual without the need for physical force. G.L.O.V.E gloves are designed to be a "NON-LETHAL" device.
Years of research, experimentation, and studies on the effects of very low amperage electricity in humans have helped create G.L.O.V.E gloves. Several engineers from the leading American manufacturer of Electronic Control Devices, commonly known as Taser, have designed and created these gloves that can prevent the escalation of force when detaining an individual.
How does it work?
Simply put on the gloves and, if the situation requires it, press the power button. At that moment, when you touch the individual's skin with the palm of the glove, they will receive an electric stimulus that will momentarily paralyze their motor and sensory peripheral system, rendering them unable to move and/or coordinate muscle movements.
Immobilizing the subject:
Once direct contact of the glove or gloves with the subject's skin is made, the individual will be paralyzed, allowing the police officer to control and arrest them without struggling and without the need for physical force.
Until now, the vast majority of police officers have only had their rubber or wooden baton and their firearm and ammunition to deal with all types of threats. Some have defense sprays, and others even have electric batons. After years of countless lives lost, G.L.O.V.E gloves are the option to solve situations before they escalate to higher levels of violence.
What does this mean?
This technology represents the possibility of quickly controlling and arresting an individual who begins to struggle with the police without causing harm, without injuries of any kind, and without creating large scenes.

What effects does it produce?
Thanks to the extremely low electric impulse, specially modulated at 0.000125 Amperes, the gloves generate partial immobilization of the individual. This allows for a window of safety for the police officer to proceed with the arrest without using physical force or more forceful police weapons. It is a tiny current, but thanks to its pulse rate per second, it interrupts the individual's neuro-sensory communication with their limbs, momentarily paralyzing the limb with direct skin contact. The individual falls to the ground in a controlled manner and is handcuffed.
Hundreds of medical studies have been conducted for decades, examining the effects of electricity generated by Electronic Control Devices, "ECDs", more commonly known as tasers. All of them conclude that when used correctly and within legal limits, these types of devices pose no significant threat or risk to the health of the individual receiving that tiny amount of current.
