Portable Field Breathalyzer ALERT J5

The AIA24 PORTABLE BREATHALYZER brings together in a single device the most demanded features by Law Enforcement agencies: compact, lightweight, low consumption and runs with only 2 simple AA alkaline batteries. Robust equipment since it only requires annual review and not every 6 months like the vast majority of competitor's breathalyzers. AIA24 can be paired with a Bluetooth printer to print results on the spot.

1. Accurate & Ruggedized Technology

This device detects and quantifies breath alcohol with a greater sensitivity thanks to its dual electrochemical sensor. Detector has been specifically developed for ethanol molecule, thus avoiding false positives caused by the presence of ketones and hydrocarbons. The taken breath sample is splitted and deposited in two different detection chambers during blowing process. Both samples are tested independently to ensure a greater precision as if it were an evidential breathalyzer. With dual electrochemical sensor technology - the standard for law-enforcement breath alcohol testers - we can assure both reliable and accurate results as well as stability over time. Each review and calibration of the equipment is valid for up to 1 year, reducing drastically its long-term cost of use.

2. Easy handling

Quick-time testing is guaranteed. Device ready to be used in less than 30 seconds from pressing switch-on button and a recycle time between samples of 10 seconds.

Another asset is the capability to Passive Sampling: its low airflow resistance makes possible to test the surrounding ambient environment without active user participation, unconscious subjects or suspicious containers of containing alcoholic substances.

This tester comes with an intuitive user interface and can be programmed to accommodate any language of any region/country. No matter who you are, or where you are, ALERT J5 has you covered. It is straightforward to get familiar with the navigation menu and see test results thanks to its coloured graphic LCD display and acoustic signaling.

4. Ergonomic grip 

Outstanding compact measurements make this breathalyzer handheld. It is run by only 3 buttons resulting in a comfortable and easy experience to work with. Design compatible with left-handed and right-handed grip. Manufactured to be used under all types of weather conditions. All three buttons can be pressed even wearing hard-resistant gloves thanks to the good design of its buttons, the separation between them and the degree of pressure with which they have been assembled.

5. Enhanced results recording
It has a memory capacity to store up to 10,000 time-stamped events. The greatest storage capacity ever known in the field of breathalyzers.

When time is of the essence and supporting documentation is required, our tester can be paired with a Bluetooth printer (optional) to print the results on the spot. Sync with PC is also available in order to collect and manage all data. All the results are recorded in chronological order as well as add associated notes for each measurement.

6. Safe & hygienic

The device is designed to keep a safety distance between user's hand and tested subject's mouth. Thus, the grip area and the mouthpiece have been intentionally separated. Thanks to the own mouthpiece with non-return valve patented by ACS, the equipment ensures optimal hygiene.

7. Low consumption

The device runs with only 2 AA alkaline batteries 1.5V, enabling an autonomy between 800 and 1.000 tests at environmental conditions.

This breathalyzer is designed in accordance with the International Recomendation R.126 on ethylometers of the International Organization of Legal Metrology.
