DESCRIPCTION
Data capture software - Easy to use interface on the PC allows the user to automatically capture pertinent information when the S-200 is used. Data capture information allows the PC to present the date, time, battery voltage, officer name and the number of firings and cycles used. Stinger engineers have created cutting edge software that allows a department to know the EXACT moment a unit was fired. Unlike other stun gun technologies that program the date and time into the gun, which is prone to possible human error, the Stinger software has an algorithm in it that allows a PC, which can be synched up with an atomic clock, to know the EXACT moment of time. This may be critical information in court defense. Other stun gun manufacturers can not make such a claim.Data Delivery Dock - This allows the gun to seamlessly transmit the data from the gun to the PC via RF into the data dock. Therefore the S-200 does not utilize a USB plug, which limits exposure to the weather and possible officer shock.
PROGRAMMABLE FIRING SEQUENCE- This feature allows the department to determine how the firing sequence of the S-200 occurs when the trigger is depressed. This allows for options such as allowing the SWAT team to have a different firing sequence than the patrol officers. Options available via a simple point and click on the console are:
Manual: fires only when the trigger is depressed
Semi-automatic: fires automatically for approximately two seconds
Automatic: fires automatically for approximately four seconds
